Tip of the day
Plan your meals. This helps to avoid unnecessary trips to the grocery or going out to eat. Factor in leftovers to make your cooking do double duty. Example—roast a whole chicken (or more than one) one night and eat half. The next night have the rest of the meat in a casserole. Reserve the bones and skins to make a broth to strain and cook rice in or add to soups.
