I sped through Walgreens today to buy some items for the Faith UMC food pantry. I bought the following items and because we are tax exempt made 6 cents! Oh, how I love it when they pay us to buy their stuff!

3 Beet Seed packets (Filler item at 3/$1 and will be used for our garden at church)
1 Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste, used $1 off coupon from Colgate website
2 Pert Plus Shampoos for Men, on sale this week 2/$5, used two $1.50/1 coupon from 5/3 SS
1 Right Guard Deodorant, on sale $2.99, used $1 off coupon
Used $5 RR from Nivea deal last week.
Paid $3.48 OOP
Earned $4.50 RR Colgate
$2 RR Right Guard
$2 RR Pert Plus
Transaction #2--
1 Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste
1 Right Guard Deodorant, on sale $2.99, used $1 off coupon
Used $5 RR from Bayer Contour Meter last week
Paid $1.48 OOP
Earned $4.50 RR Colgate

Repeated Transaction #2 again.

The overage (money that we make) is given in the form of register rewards catalinas. Meaning, they basically give you store credit to be used on your next purchase. In the post you see that I pay a certain amount out of pocket but earn more than I paid. (I, in this situation, being the food pantry for our church).
