Pencil in Panera

Panera Bread logoI found this information on Thrifty Mama’s blog:

Recently ranked Health Magazine’s “#1 healthiest on-the-go restaurant,” Panera has launched its “Summer of Salad” campaign – featuring “Summer Salad Sampler” Day on June 11, a menu chalk-full of lighter options, such as smoothies, as well as the official re-opening of its outdoor patios.

Taste Our Salads – For Free!
On Thursday, June 11, Panera’s more than 80 Chicagoland bakery-cafes will offer “Summer Salad Sampler” Day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., inviting customers to sample – for free – two soon-to-be favorites: Chopped Cobb and Strawberry Poppyseed Salads.

This may not be at all locations, so I recommend calling ahead to see if your location is participating.  Wait until we get closer though, because word may not have spread from corporate to all locations yet.  You can see some details HERE. Find a location near you HERE.

I phoned our local store in Knoxville, and the manager said that they will be participating, but that there is a chance that they will be doing it a different day.  I’ll keep you all posted as I learn more.  For now, pencil the date in on your calendar.  How I love free stuff!
