East Tennessee WAPF Chapter’s September 2009 Meeting:

Food Preservation & Storage

Come learn how to preserve the end of summer harvest.

Join us for our potluck dinner. If you don’t have time to prepare a WAPF- friendly dish, don’t worry, come anyway! There’s always plenty of great food to share. Or you can always bring something simple like cucs & maters, grapes or apples, or crackers & cheese. To keep this a green event, please bring your own plate, fork, napkin, & cup. Please bring your own beverage.

NO CHARGE - All Welcome!

Please bring a canned food donation for Second Harvest Food Bank.

Date: Monday, Sept. 28 (We are now meeting on the 4th Monday of every month)

Time: 6:30 PM for pot luck, 7:00 for the presentation

Come early (6:00) if you want to chat & help set up for meeting

Place: Deane Hill Recreation Center

Directions: From I-40, take the West Hills exit 380. Turn left onto Kingston Pike. Turn right at the first stoplight onto Morrell Rd (East side of West Town Mall). At the fourth stoplight, turn left onto Deane Hill Dr. Recreation center will be on your immediate right.
