The Market Square Farmers Market September To the Source Farm Tour is Sept. 20 to 3 farms in New Market. First, they will visit Highlander Research & Education Center's newly acquired apple orchard and learn how they are transitioning a traditional orchard into an organic one. Then to J.D. Dimick's Happy Harvest Farm, where the participants meet some sheep and chickens and talk about the joys and challenges of a young family farm. Finally, to Martha Snyder's farm, where they will meet her cows and stroll the fields.
