SPAM filters

My e-mail account has been blacklisted.  I feel a little like I’ve been wrongfully imprisoned without discourse.  I had no idea that I was using SPAM like elements in my e-mails.  I thought you all might want to look at this website to find out some tips for avoiding SPAM filters.  We are working to remedy the situation.  Until then, if you have a hotmail account and would like to contact me via e-mail, please include your phone number so that I will be able to respond to your e-mail.  Otherwise, when I try to send you an e-mail it will bounce back to me.  I’m really hoping we have this resolved soon.

  1. I have had this post tabbed for a while because I wanted to post your information on my blog. Since reading this I've checked my spam everyday and have found so many e-mails that shouldn't be there. Also, I've been wondering if many of my e-mails go to people's spam folders, especially when I don't get a response. I've been more careful with my choice of words in my subject line. Why were your e-mails bouncing back to you and how did you fix it?

  2. My hubby fixed it for me. There was a problem wtih the hotmail filters. He had to appeal the blacklist and show that I am a real person (not a spammer). It took weeks and was a major pain.
I have found that these tips have helped me:
Not using FREE in the subject line or anything re: YOU WON
Not changing the font color in the main body of the e-mail
Not adding a http before the e-mail wording

I hope that helps! Happy New Year!
