When you order items on line or complete rebates on line, after you submit your order the company often cues you to print a copy for your records. Instead of wasting the paper and ink, I highlight the information on the screen, copy it (CTRL C) and paste it (CTRL V) into a Word document. I save it in my files until the order or rebate go through properly. If there is a problem I can refer back to my saved copy, and if I need to print it at that point I can. No more wasting paper and ink when it isn’t necessary to do so!

I have a similar approach. I print online receipts using Adobe PDF Writer that prints the webpage/receipt into an electronic file,PDF. I usually name it with a date and website.
