Tip of the day

It never hurts to ask.

  • My husband had ordered some things on line.  He received an e-mail the next day that the same things were then on sale.  He called the company, and they honored the sale prices, reimbursing him for the difference.
  • I was placing an order on line for Coldwater Creek this weekend.  The prices were great, but the shipping would have been around $8.  I looked on line for a free shipping code to no avail.  I called the company and said, “I’d really like to place an order with your company, but I do not like to pay for shipping.  Do you have a free shipping code available?”  The rep immediately offered one for me to use.
