A little light reading

I want to hear from you all this week.  Do you have any posts, websites, blogs, books or articles you think that others would like to see?  What are your favorite blogs?  What websites do you like to look at for news?  What books have you been reading lately?  What are your favorite magazines?

I hope you’ll take the time to post a comment!  Have a fantabulous weekend!

  1. http://www.cityrewardsnetwork.com/cityindex.php?city=easttennessee. They have coupons for local merchants. Robin

  2. Two cookbooks I've been looking at lately: Mark Bittman's Kitchen Express (featuring recipes that can be made in 20 minutes or less) and Eat Cheap but Eat Well, by Charles Mattocks. I like the first one the most, although its focus isn't really frugality--but given that even the more expensive ingredients are cheaper than me saying "dang it, I can't stand the thought of cooking--let's go out to eat," it has a frugal effect on me.

  3. Our family enjoys Ready Made Magazine. (They also have a website.) It's focus is on repurposing/reusing/recycling. Love it!

www.hillbillyhousewife.com is full of frugal recipes.

I also check apartmenttherapy.com daily. While it's more of a design blog, the folks there never fail to include lots of great tips and tricks for taking care of your home. Check out their "green" section!

  4. Environmental Working Group http://www.ewg.org
