Tip of the day

When making homemade biscuits, stir the dough and roll the dough as little as possible.  Over-stirring will make for tougher biscuits, and rolling the dough will make it more compact instead of light and airy.  This is especially important when using whole wheat flours.  Want a good biscuit recipe?  Check out my Baking Soda Biscuit recipe here.  I made them in heart shapes this morning in honor of Valentine’s weekend.  So cute!
