I thought it might be a good time to update the links on the site. Here are a list of some of my favorite blogs which I view regularly and I thought might be of interest to the folks here. Want some more great blogs? Check out the list of followers that I have—many of them have blogs of their own which are very informative. What are your favorites? Include any you would think that others might like in the comments section. The blogs are listed in no particular order. I hope you’ll visit them all, especially the local sites.

Hip2Save—Collin stays on top of the deals. She posts regularly, is excited about what she is doing, and has some neat weekly vlogs.

Mojo Savings—Like Hip2Save, this blog posts regularly and a wide variety of freebies, coupons, and deals.

Who Said Nothing in Life is Free? She regularly posts Amazon deals in addition to freebies, sales, and coupons.

Money Saving Mom—Crystal is probably one of the best known bloggers for couponing and all things frugal. Her site offers a wide range of information on couponing, freebies, and money saving.

Common Sense with Money—Mercedes updates her site regularly and in addition to tips, coupons, and freebies, she does periodic reviews of products.

I Heart Wags--This site offers up to date information on Walgreens sales, rebates, and deals. There are also sneak peaks at the upcoming sales ads.

I Heart CVS—This site is the same kind of information for CVS.

The Thrifty Mama—She offers more organic shopping tips than most other sites.

Organic Deals and Coupons—Check out her links for just about any organic coupon you could ever want. She focuses on organics and so you won’t see any deals for Kool-aid or McDonald’s there (which frankly, is one of the reasons I so love her blog!!)

Money Saving Maine-iac—You’ll find a strong focus on organics and healthy living. She also posts the coupon match-ups for Co-op Advantage Stores/Three Rivers Market

Local sites--

Coupon Katie—Great for Knoxville related info and frugal finds. She is just as nice in person as on her site. She makes regular TV appearances where she shares her money saving tips and deals.

Knoxville Mamabelle—Isha is a fellow Holistic Mom and was the first follower I had on my site. I had always said that I “wasn’t a blogger”, but when she signed up to follow me I decided I should start. She raises chickens, eats healthy, and is an awesome mom. Her site has a little of everything.

Real Housewives Clip Coupons—Recently changed names from Knoxville on a Dime. Kathryn’s blog, while relatively new, has been a fantastic source of couponing and discount information specifically focused on the Knoxville area.

Sweet Deals—You’ll find coupons, freebies, restaurant discounts, and updates on local store sales

Frugally Farming Family—Hannah is such a fun farm gal! You’ll find an emphasis on healthy eating, gardening, food preservation, and keeping what is really important in life at the forefront of all you do.

Thrifty Christy--Fantastic source of info, deals, sales and such for Blount County. Plus, she's super nice, creative, and giving.

Sharing Savings with You—Julie includes local events and sales, activities, and anything related to money saving. She has some fantastic giveaways on her site!

Blue Frog Creations—Margaret and I met at The Knoxville Coupon Fair, and I’ve been following her blog ever since. She’s funny, smart, and savvy—what more could you ask for?!

Knoxville To Do Blog--Ali James of Knoxmoms fame is keeping up a local activity calendar and posting about what's happening in Knoxville

Jeremiah 29:11--While not a money saving blog, this is one of my favorite Christian blogs. I hope you'll check it out!

Simply Natural Mom--Also not a money saving blog, but you'll find some creative and frugal activities for children and inspiration to do more for yourself (everything from sewing to cooking and canning)

  1. Gabriel! Thank you for including me in such great company!

Now I just noticed your RSS Feed. I'm heading over to sign up. :)

  2. Thanks for compiling all of these! And thanks for the compliment! You are so sweet:)

  3. Where's the Groupon deal on the Mineral Makeup? I bought it and can't find where to get the coupon.

    Thank you,
    Glenda Stump

  4. I am an avid couponer who is moving from FL to TN. Where we currently live, I have 10 Publix stores within 10 miles. I am moving to Morristown, where Ingles is the only place to shop. Do you have any insight on shopping at Ingles and who does match-ups for them?

  5. Shanci, First off, we welcome your move to East TN! Morristown is a beautiful place to live, and I think you'll find the people very helpful and nice there. Regarding Ingles, they do have some great options for shoppers. I recommend that you sign up for the Ingles card as soon as you get into town. They will send coupons to you periodically. They have a triple coupon week a couple of times a year, and that is a great time to stock up on some basics. Frankly, though, you won't find deals like you once did at Publix stores in FL. Southern Savers posts a weekly matchup for Ingles and under that tab she has a few tricks of the trade for shopping there. They have a tiered system of doubling coupons--3 coupons up to 50cts doubled per every $10 spent. This will make for a slight learning curve as you start to shop there.

Many of my couponing friends who live in that area make a point to bring their binders with them when they travel to the Sevierville or Knoxville area to allow them to shop the sales at other stores.

    I hope this helps!
