Yesterday I reminded you to call ahead before wasting your time on an errand that might be fruitless. One thing that helps me to do that is having a phone book in my car. OK, OK, have a phone book in your car and know where it is—my car is almost always the messiest part of my life because I am in and out of it so often. I know there is one in my car, but I can’t tell you where right now. That counts, right????
I digress. If you don’t have a cell phone, I still encourage you to pack a phone book. You can use it to find street addresses and you can always stop and use a land line if needed. If you do have a cell, it will help you avoid fees for information services—those can really add up!
