Tip of the day

Last night I was at church cleaning up the children’s program meal and talking with friends.  We got on the subject of Kroger generics vs name brand.   The consensus was that many times the generic version is equal to or better than the name brand version.  There were a few products mentioned that people tried and absolutely did not like.  They did not know that if you try a Kroger brand and do not like it, you can return it to the service desk and get a refund or name brand item for free.  I searched the company website to find the exact verbiage:

What do I do if I don’t like the quality of a Kroger Brand item?

We are proud of the quality of all Kroger products. However, our guarantee statement says, “Try our brand, if you don’t like it, we’ll give you the national brand free.” Our store will be glad to assist you with your concern if you kindly return the dissatisfactory product.

There are other grocery stores that have a similar guarantee.  If you shop elsewhere you might want to contact the store and ask.
