Yesterday I poured a bowl of Moms Best Natural cereal for breakfast. It was the square kind of shredded wheat. When I poured the last of the box about a cup of loose shreds came out. I’ve been buying this cereal for a while now, and I’ve never had a problem with them before. I phoned the toll free number on the box to report the problem, knowing that this was out of the norm for them and thinking that they would want to know. The phone operator was so wonderful—polite, quick to serve me, pleasant to talk with. She asked if I wanted my money back or if I wanted some free product coupons as a thank you for letting them know. I jumped on the opportunity to have free product coupons, and I was so glad that I took a couple of minutes out of my day to make the call.
If you are pleased with a store, business, or product. Call the service line and let them know. Give specific information, including any employees who were particularly helpful to you. If you are having a problem, do the same. A good company will appreciate that you took the time to let them know so that they can improve their services. Who knows—you just might receive a thank you in the form of a coupon or free product because you took the time to do so!
