Hosted by the Jefferson County Health Council, this free workshop will be at the Bonner Center, 704 King St, on the Carson Newman Campus on Friday, April 8, from 9:00a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 9, from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 pm.
Some of the featured topics will be:
- How to build and grow food in raised garden beds
- How to can, dry, freeze and preserve food.
- How to use fresh food for healthy, seasonal meals
On Saturday from noon-2:00 p.m.there will also be a free SEED exchange.
