Tip of the day—Make it fun

My aunt was always great about making special foods around the holidays.  We all delighted in the rainbow multi-layered gelatin dessert that she made one Easter, to give just one example of her many “fancy foods”.  With her inspiration, I have tried to make fun and fancy foods for the holidays whenever I can.  This weekend I made a flag cake and am going to make flag toasts this morning.  Why not try and make something red, white, and blue in celebration of the holiday?
